WHO IS THE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING FOR?
For beginners: Perhaps you are brand new to this practice… Or you know the basics but desire a deeper dive into the art and science of breathwork?
For experienced practitioners: Do you have a strong breathwork foundation, but seek to take your skills and knowledge to the next level in order to become exceptional?
Breathwork can be a standalone skill to embody and share, or it can be complementary medicine understood and taught in conjunction with work you already do, such as:
Teaching yoga, qi-gong or meditation, holistic therapy, wellness or transformation coaching, psychotherapy, physiotherapy, athletics, sports coaching, medical and health care, educational work and more.
WHO IS THE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING NOT FOR?
Quick and easy certification: This programme is NOT for those looking for a fast-track route to a breathwork certification.
Low level of commitment: This programme is NOT for those who cannot invest at least 30 minutes every day to develop self practice and progress learning.
Average, run-of-the-mill Breathworkers: This course is NOT for you if you want to become an average breathworker - we want only to enable exceptional breathworkers!

The Embody Breathwork Instructor programmes is designed and led by expert breathworker and yogi Christopher Gladwell, who has over 40 years experience in practicing and teaching breathwork, pranayama, deep yoga, meditation, mind mastery, body wisdom, biology and more.
- Studying and teaching yoga in its manifold forms of physical practice (asana), conscious breathwork (pranayama), meditation, mindfulness, vibration and mantra, pragmatic philosophy and devotion (bhakti) for over 40 years.

WHAT WILL YOU GET FROM OUR BREATHWORK PROGRAMME?
This training will take you from wherever you are now in your breathwork journey, to a place of deep transformation and awakening as a certified Breathworker.
You will be able to confidently assess your clients needs and co-create with them a programme of work to enable them to achieve their goals with breathwork and related skillsets.
You will be able to confidently teach core breathwork practices and translate your understanding clearly and compassionately to your clients in a 1:1 setting.
You will have a strong understanding of what it means to hold both a safe space and what we call a brave space - for you and your clients.
You will develop skills on trauma informed teaching and how to help your clients resolve and integrate trauma and develop the skills of resilience.
You will grow knowledge around the science of breathwork, biomechanics, physiology and psychology and how these interelate.
You will be part of a strong community of like-minded practitioners. The community aspect of our work enables a robust learning environment and plenty of support to meet the challenges of learning and of life as you progress through this programme.

CERTIFICATION AND COMMITMENT
This one year training is certified by CPD (Continued Professional Development).
We are proud to be a certified GPBA school for our 2 year training programme. GPBA has an extremely high standard and we have worked scrupulously to meet the same high standard within our programme.
In order to qualify for certification from the GPBA (Global Professional Breathwork Alliance), you must also complete our second year training. GPBA only accredit trainings that are a minimum of two years.
Year one - CPD accredited
This one-year training programme is approximately 500 hours of study.
Year two - GPBA accredited
Year two will be running in 2024, and, should you wish to extend your learning and take your skills to the next level, you will need to commit to approximately 700 hours for the second year.
Whether or not you choose to do just year one, or extend your learning to year two, you must be dedicated to self-study, self-development and self-practice.
